(2021). # Raw Behavioral data of final sample (n= 54); Data are stored into 6 workspaces (.mat files), one for each Group and Experiement. Exemplar_CB, Exemplar_LB, Exemplar_SC; Texture_CB, Texture_LB, Texture_SC; Each one contains a list of variables named “sub”+number (i.e sub01, sub02,…). 216*7 cell array containing all info about presentation and performance for each subject: ⁃ Column 1= duration of the sound triplet for each trial; ⁃ Column 2,3,4= Sound Texture presented; ⁃ Column 5= duration of inter-stimuli interval (ISI); ⁃ Column 6= Correct answer (1= right; 3= left); ⁃ Column 7= Participant’s response (1= right; 3= left; 2= null/participant failed to press; considered as wrong). Raw dataset from participants that were excluded from final sample are also available in the file “Data_excluded.mat” . 3 congenitally blinds, 1 late-onset blind, 1 early blind, and 2 sighted controls were excluded due to their inability to perform/complete one or both tasks.
