Description

Null Hypothesis: There is no significant association between low back pain and mental distress in adolescents. Alternate Hypothesis: There is a significant relation between low back pain and mental distress in adolescents. Low back pain in adolescents is strongly associated functional impairment and weakly with psychological distress. The results highlight the importance of a biopsychosocial approach in assessment and management. A combined intervention involving physiotherapy, psychological strategies, and lifestyle modifications is recommended for effective management and improved outcomes.
