Description

The data used in this study consist of primary field survey data collected from 150 apple farmers (75 practicing natural farming and 75 practicing chemical farming) across the districts of Shimla, Mandi, and Sirmaur in Himachal Pradesh, India. The dataset includes information related to establishment costs, cost of cultivation, productivity, profitability, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, environmental externalities, input usage, and socioeconomic characteristics of farming households.
