Description

This dataset supports a study on the regionalization of Xin’anjiang model parameters for typical rivers in the Poyang Lake Basin, China. It contains two main parts: a compiled dataset of Xin’anjiang model parameters and basin coordinate information collected from published studies, and daily hydro-meteorological data used for model calibration and validation in representative river basins. The compiled parameter dataset includes basin names, basin areas, climatic characteristics, mean annual hydro-meteorological conditions, calibrated Xin’anjiang model parameters, model performance indicators, and related remarks. The basin coordinate dataset provides geographic information for basins included in the parameter compilation and is intended to support spatial analysis and parameter regionalization. The hydro-meteorological data include daily rainfall, observed streamflow, and evapotranspiration series for seven typical rivers/basins in the Poyang Lake Basin, including the Ganjiang River, Fuhe River, Xinjiang River, Xiuhe River, Liaohe River, Le’an River, and Changjiang River. The daily records generally cover the period from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2020. These data can be used for hydrological model calibration, validation, runoff simulation, comparative basin analysis, and regional transfer of Xin’anjiang model parameters.
