RockFracPro dataset

Description

RockFracPro is a MATLAB-COMSOL coupled discrete fracture network simulation platform for stochastic DFN generation, connectivity analysis, rough-fracture flow simulation, and equivalent permeability upscaling in fractured rock masses. The package provides five MATLAB scripts: Gen2DFracture.m, Gen3DFracture.m, Fracture growth of DNFs.m, Modeling using COMSOL with matlab.m, and Fluid flow using Comsol with Matlab.m. These scripts implement two-dimensional discrete fracture network generation, three-dimensional fracture network generation, fracture growth and arrest in two-dimensional discrete fracture networks, numerical modeling of discrete fracture networks, fracture-network flow simulation, and permeability upscaling for two-dimensional discrete fracture networks. The codes were developed for research on fluid flow and permeability upscaling in fractured rock masses. Users should run the MATLAB scripts with the required MATLAB functions and COMSOL LiveLink for MATLAB environment.
