The data used in the analyses are drawn from Norwegian administrative registers, and we do not have permission to share the data. Detailed instructions for replicating the results, including a description of the required data files and software, are provided in README.md.

Steps to reproduce
This repository contains the replication code for Baker, Drange and Gjefsen (2026), "An Evaluation of a National Program to Reduce Student Absenteeism in High School," Labour Economics. The analysis uses administrative register data from Statistics Norway (SSB) covering Norwegian upper secondary and lower secondary school students for school years 2013–2019. The data are confidential and cannot be shared publicly. Researchers may apply for access through SSB's research services at https://www.ssb.no/en/omssb/tjenester-og-verktoy/data-til-forskning. Access requires approval of a research project and a signed data agreement with SSB. The repository contains all Stata do-files needed to construct the analysis dataset from the raw registers and reproduce all tables and figures in the paper, as well as an R script for the HonestDiD sensitivity analysis. Detailed instructions for replicating the results, including a description of the required data files and software, are provided in README.md.
