Ball Bearing Vibration, and Temperature Run-to-Failure Dataset
Description
This data includes vibration data according to the time from when the bearing is normal to when it is failed. The bearing was rotated at a constant speed of 3600 RPM until bearing failure (operated for 5 minutes, and operated for 15 minutes with rest). The accelerated bearing life test was terminated when the bearing temperature exceeded 85 °C (Celsius) and the vibration value exceeded 9 mm/s^2. For the accelerated life test, an axial load of 300 kg (2.94 kN) and a vertical load of 600 kg (5.88 kN) were applied to the ball bearing. Due to capacity issues, data were extracted and published at hourly intervals. * Experiment Details Operating period: 2022.06.20 17:00 ~ 2022.06.26 01:00 (128 hours) Rotating speed: 3600 RPM Kinds of acquired data: vibration (x-axis), vibration (y-axis), temperature (bearing), temperature (Atmospheric) Axial load of 300 kg: (2.94 kN) Vertical load of 600 kg: (5.88 kN) * Ball Bearing specifications Model: NSK 6205 Ball Bearing (steel-sealing) Inside diameter: 25mm Outside diameter: 52 mm Width: 15 mm Cage type: Steel Maximum Rotational Speed: 13000 RPM Basic dynamic load rating: 1509 kg (14.8 kN) Basic static load rating: 795 kg (7.8 kN)
