Description

This dataset includes five traditional batik motifs: Kawung (626 images), Megamendung (390 images), Parang (804 images), Sekarjagad (339 images), and Truntum (289 images), totaling 2,448 images. Each motif has its own meaning and symbolism.

Steps to reproduce

Batik Kawung, Megamendung, Parang, Sekarjagad, and Truntum Dataset Guide 1. Data Collection - Search batik images via Google Images with appropriate keywords - The inclusion criteria include batik motif images of the Kawung, Megamendung, Parang, Sekarjagad, and Truntum types with clear motif patterns. - The exclusion criteria include images with severe noise and artefacts that interfere with the visuals 2. Standardisation - Crop and resize image to 224x224 pixels - Ensure the color format is RGB - Save in JPG format 3. Annotation - Separate the raw image data into five batik motif classes, namely Kawung, Megamendung, Parang, Sekarjagad, and Truntum 4. Packaging - Checking annotations and overall format - Creating documentation - Compressing the data into a ZIP file.
