Dataset : Environmental Journalism Practices in Kompas and TVRI
Description
This data is a collection of news published by Kompas.com and tvrinews.com regarding environmental journalism, especially about the nickel mining case in Raja Ampat, Papua. The data was used to analyze the practice of environmental journalism in the Indonesian media, represented by public media, in this case TVRI and the private media, Kompas. Environmental journalism needs to be studied in relation to the power of the media in shaping opinion and encouraging public action regarding environmental problems/issues.

Steps to reproduce
Gathering data used the keyword "Raja Ampat mine" until June 15, 2025 at 9:00 PM Indonesian time, there were 509 news items displayed on Kompas.com and 472 news items on tvrinews.com. From the population, researcher just used 10 persen as a sample (random).
