Bovine zygotes were immunostained with 5-methylcytosine (5mC) and propidiumiodide (PI). Then, these zygotes were examined under a SP8 confocal microscope (Leica, Diegem, Belgium) equipped with white laser source (WLL) at excitation/emission 488/525 nm (to visualize 5mC; ch00) and 530/620 nm (to visualize PI; ch01). Scanned depth was 14µm with 1µm interval between different z-stacks. Each folder contains images of one individual zygote. OM = oligomycin; CONT = control.
