, Description
This data includes the void volume, DMA, tensile, shear and plane-strain fracture toughness properties of epoxy adhesives used in wind turbine applications. SPABOND™ 820HTA (non-toughened) and SPABOND™ 840HTA (toughened) epoxy adhesives are combined via manual and machine mixing processes. The hybrid and manufacturing effects on the material properties are determined through instrumented experiments. The results are published in "Manufacturing and toughening effects on the material properties of wind turbine blade adhesives", Volume 116, December 2022, 107770.
