Our study investigates the effects of long-term kratom consumption on brain connectivity within the Default Mode Network (DMN) using resting-state fMRI. Our data includes demographics, cognitive results and functional connectivity (FC) extracted from CONN Toolbox (v.20b) (Whitfield-Gabrieli and Nieto-Castanon 2012) for every subject. This study aims to address this gap by investigating alterations in brain activity and FC among regular kratom users compared to healthy controls (HCs) using rs-fMRI. This dataset provides valuable insights into the effect of kratom on brain functions, contributing to the understanding of factors that contribute to kratom addiction in the community.
