Current and future global distribution of the peach twig borer, Anarsia lineatella Zeller (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae)
Description
The occurrence data for A. lineatella was obtained from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF, 2024) database using the rgbif R package version 3.8.0 (Chamberlain et al., 2023). The following procedures were used to clean the occurrence data (Hijmans & Elith, 2013; Ribeiro et al., 2023; Zizka et al., 2019): (i) only records with a spatial resolution ≤ 1 km were retained for analysis; (ii) occurrence records within a radius of 10 km around the centers of capital cities and 5 km around the centers of countries, states, provinces, or municipalities were removed; (iii) occurrences with the same absolute longitude and latitude, within a radius of 0.5 degrees around the GBIF headquarters, and duplicate coordinates were also removed; and (iv) occurrence records located in water or not associated with environmental variables were removed.
