Reproducibility Data and Code for “Performance Evaluation of SLA-Aware Coordinated Hysteresis Control in Bursty Edge–Fog–Cloud Systems with Routine Retrials”
Description
This dataset provides the computational materials supporting the study “Performance Evaluation of SLA-Aware Coordinated Hysteresis Control in Bursty Edge–Fog–Cloud Systems with Routine Retrials.” The study examines service-level-agreement-aware capacity control in a three-tier Internet of Healthcare Things environment with correlated multiclass batch arrivals, emergency offloading, routine retrials, setup delays, finite transmission links, and coordinated Edge–Fog hysteresis. The archive includes synthetic input data, locked experiment configurations, replication-level discrete-event simulation outputs, processed publication tables, reduced continuous-time Markov chain validation records, source code, analysis and figure-generation scripts, publication-quality figure files, and computational regression tests. It supports both rapid verification using the archived simulation records and full computational regeneration using the included scripts and fixed random seeds. The operational SLA results reported in the paper were generated by independently implemented discrete-event simulation. The reduced CTMC provides a separately assembled audit of event and reward logic under a matched reduced specification. The Palm-initialized tagged-customer CTMC and zero-expiration saturated-tail result are analytical extensions and are not represented as implemented numerical components in this archive. All inputs and computational data are synthetic. No patient-level, clinical, confidential, or personally identifiable information is included. Detailed installation instructions, file descriptions, table and figure mappings, integrity checksums, and steps for reproducing the reported results are provided in the archive.
