Description

The Brain MRI dataset consists of 3,192 images categorized into two classes: TUMOR (1,467 images) and NORMAL (1,725 images). It is widely used for binary classification tasks to distinguish between MRI scans with and without tumors. This dataset is valuable for developing deep learning and machine learning models for automated tumor detection. Preprocessing techniques like normalization, data augmentation, and feature extraction using CNNs or transfer learning models can enhance classification performance, aiding in accurate medical diagnosis.
