Description

This is a database of all of the hydrous silicate glass measured via Raman spectroscopy using the Cornell University (E.Gazel's lab) Witec Alpha 300R to create external and internal calibrations to quantify H2O in silicate glasses. This database also includes test measurements of melt inclusions from different volcanic systems. All Raman measurements were taken with a 473-nm excitation source. File names format retains metadata information, such as: 1. Objective magnification (50x or 100x) 2. Laser power (1 mW, 5 mW, 10 mW, 16 mW) 3. Integration times (30s) 4. Accumulations (repetitions; 10, 20) 5. spectral processing (CRR- cosmic ray removal) 6. Repeated measurements (_X) We have also included an abridged folder ('Test Dataset for Code').
