The dataset includes the fractional abundance of archaeal isoGDGTs and bacterial brGDGTs in Chinese peatlands. The first sheet includes the fractional abundance of archaeal isoGDGTs and associated indices in different peatlands. The second sheet includes the fractional abundance of bacterial brGDGTs and associated indices in different peatlands. The third sheet includes environmental variables for each peatland and each peat sample.
