Oral JAK Inhibitors in the Management of Nail Psoriasis: An Evidence Based Review

Description

Nail psoriasis is a manifestation of psoriasis localized to the nails, often presenting with pitting, onycholysis, and subungual hyperkeratosis. Currently, there are no FDA approved treatments specifically for nail psoriasis, with initial therapy typically including topical or systemic modalities. This systematic review examines the available literature and summarizes the effectiveness and safety outcomes of Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) therapies in the treatment of nail psoriasis.
