Description

This dataset contains the raw and processed experimental data supporting the manuscript on Cr(VI) removal by magnetic coffee-husk biochar: Process optimization, adsorption modelling, regeneration and validation in tannery wastewater. The dataset includes adsorption isotherm and kinetic data, desorption agent selection and contact-time experiments, adsorbent recyclability data, pH at point of zero charge (pHₚzc), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) data for MCHBC before and after Cr(VI) adsorption. These data support the characterization, adsorption performance evaluation, regeneration potential, and interpretation of the mechanisms involved in Cr(VI) removal by MCHBC.
