Interactive VTKJS Isosurfaces of Normalised Soil Displacement for Plate Anchor Uplift

Description

This dataset provides three interactive 3D scenes exported from ParaView in VTKJS format. Each VTKJS file visualises an isosurface defined by a different threshold of normalised soil displacement, d_soil/d, where d_soil denotes soil displacement and d denotes anchor displacement. The included thresholds are d_soil/d = 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20 (the 0.20 isosurface corresponds to Fig. 6 in the associated manuscript). The VTKJS files can be viewed interactively in a standard web browser using Kitware’s VTK.js Scene Explorer (https://kitware.github.io/vtk-js/examples/SceneExplorer/SceneExplorer.html) by dragging and dropping a .vtkjs file onto the viewer page. Basic controls: rotate (left mouse drag), pan (Shift + left drag), and zoom (mouse wheel). Please note that the Scene Explorer webpage is hosted by a third party (Kitware); if the link becomes unavailable, users may alternatively search for another online VTKJS/VTK.js viewer and load the .vtkjs file there. ParaView-style axes grids/tick labels are not automatically exported to VTKJS; therefore, three orthogonal arrow markers of length 1B (aligned with X/Y/Z; B is the anchor width) are included to aid orientation and scale reference. Steps to reproduce

1. Open a VTKJS online viewer (recommended: Kitware VTK.js Scene Explorer). 2. Drag and drop one of the .vtkjs files into the viewer window to load the interactive scene. 3. Interact with the scene: rotate (left mouse drag), pan (Shift + left drag), zoom (mouse wheel). 4. If the recommended viewer link is unavailable, use any other web-based VTKJS/VTK.js viewer and load the .vtkjs file similarly. 5. Use the included X/Y/Z arrow markers (length = 1B, where B is the anchor width) for orientation and scale reference.
