Description

The data support a comparison between Halma, a routing technique designed to mitigate defects, and methods such as Superstabilizer and LUCI.

Steps to reproduce

Data in Halma_vs_Supstab.xlsx and Halma_vs_LUCI.xlsx are used in Fig. 2 and 3 from the main text, respectively, and data in the MC_LER folder are used for the Monte Carlo benchmarking. The syndrome extraction circuits for Halma and the conventional superstabilizer approach are generated by custom written functions, and circuits for LUCI are written manually. The codes are available at https://github.com/iqubit-org/Halma. The performance of these circuits is then evaluated under different physical noise levels, with their logical error rates per round (or overall logical error rates for stability experiments) recorded in these tables.
