Techno Economic Dataset_Granular Organic Fertilizer
Description
This dataset contains the supporting data for the study entitled “Environmental and economic performance of a village-scale circular organic waste management system in Indonesia: A material flow, emission, and techno-economic analysis” The dataset supports the assessment of a village-scale organic waste management system that converts organic waste into granular organic fertilizer. It includes data related to techno-economic assessment. The dataset includes capital expenditure (CAPEX), operating expenditure (OPEX), production capacity, fertilizer production, revenues, cash flows, and financial performance indicators used in the techno-economic assessment. The dataset is provided as supporting data for transparency and reproducibility of the analyses presented in the associated research article. The data represent an empirically parameterized reference system and should not be interpreted as directly representative of all villages in Indonesia.

Steps to reproduce
1. Open the Excel dataset provided with this repository. 2. Review the input parameters for production capacity, fertilizer production, capital expenditure (CAPEX), operating expenditure (OPEX), selling price, and other economic assumptions. 3. Use the provided input data to calculate annual production, operating costs, revenues, and net cash flows. 4. Calculate the financial performance indicators, including Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit–Cost Ratio (BCR), and Break-Even Point (BEP), using the assumptions and calculation procedures described in the associated research article. 5. Compare the calculated results with the values reported in the associated article to verify the reproducibility of the techno-economic assessment.
