Description

This replication package contains Stata 18 code, documentation, source manifests, variable-construction instructions, non-proprietary input templates, and author-generated outputs supporting the manuscript “How Population Ageing Shapes the Automation Window: Cross-Country Evidence from 20 Industrialised Economies”. The package provides procedures to reproduce the data cleaning, variable construction, two-way fixed-effects models, wild cluster bootstrap inference, turning-point analysis, exposure-state diagnosis, mechanism-consistency analysis, robustness checks, tables, and figures. World Robotics data from the International Federation of Robotics are not redistributed because they are subject to third-party licensing and access restrictions. Researchers with lawful access to the relevant IFR World Robotics data can reproduce the analysis by placing the licensed data in the designated input folder and running the master Stata script. Instructions for retrieving public-source data from the World Bank’s World Development Indicators and the ILOSTAT database are included.
