Description

Data were collected from 1,276 pre-service teachers in Vietnam engaged in a blended learning (BL) curriculum. The self-directed learning readiness (SDLR) scale, developed by Guglielmino (1978), was used to collect data for this study. The SDLR scale consists of 58 items that were translated and evaluated for validity and reliability. Individuals respond by indicating whether each item on the scale is: 1=almost never true of me, 2=not often true of me, 3=sometimes true of me, 4=usually true of me, 5=almost always true of me. Students’ responses were coded and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with SPSS. Descriptive statistics showed the frequency and percentage of the responses for each question.
