Description

The typical section from the town of Agadir to Tildi, covering the Upper Oligocene to the Upper Pliocene, shows alternating marly-sandy molassic facies, containing various bivalves and gastropods characteristic of warm waters. The Upper Pliocene is marked by red marls and sandy limestones containing a varied fauna, observed on the left bank of the Oued Tildi and crossing the plateau of the Agadir high school.
