Partisan Attribution and Crime Framing in Bangladeshi Online News during the 2024–2026 Political Transition

This dataset contains the audited article-level corpus used to examine how Bangladeshi online news attributed crime, violence and victimisation to parliamentary and power-relevant political party families during the 2024–2026 political transition. Each record identifies the publication date, political phase, party family or organisation, primary crime category, actor direction, reported procedural status, outlet, a short coverage note and an article-specific source link. The corpus measures patterns of news visibility and framing. It does not measure crime prevalence and does not establish legal guilt.
