Spatio-temporal Modeling of the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) for Enhanced Drought Hazard Assessment in Vietnam
Description
The dataset consists of the following components: 1. df_era5_43years.csv A data frame used for SPEI modelling, containing ground-truth SPEI values along with four key climate variables: precipitation, temperature, wind speed, and solar radiation. 2. Prediction location files df_predict_2015_precip_template_clean.csv df_predict_2020_precip_template_clean.csv These files include extracted point values for all explanatory variables at prediction locations for the years 2015 and 2020, respectively. They are used for spatial prediction of SPEI. 3. Code and scripts Scripts used for data processing, variable extraction, and SPEI calculation, enabling full reproducibility of the analysis. 4. Local R² results Output files containing local R² values derived from Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) models, representing the spatial variability in model performance. 5. SPEI prediction results Model outputs presenting predicted SPEI values from the GWR model.
