Title Heat risk map for the city of São Paulo This dataset is part of a PhD research entitled "Urban heating, lack of green and lack of space: proposals for urban redesign to adapt to climate change at the microscale in the city of São Paulo", and of a research internship abroad entitled "Urban heating, lack of green and lack of space: proposal of a new green factor for the city of São Paulo". *General Details This dataset includes three itens: a folder containing the shapefile spatializing heat risk within the urbanized areas in the city of São Paulo; a QGIS layer setting (.qml) for official color settings and scale of values; and a TIFF image. The map was developed at the census tract scale (26506 urban tracts were mapped) and based on different sources of data (LANDSAT 8/9 OLI/TIRS images and several other geodata). Everything was processed using QGIS LTR 3.28.11 and the projection EPSG 31983 – SIRGAS 2000/ UTM zone 23S. **For more information about the method please refer to: Muñoz, L. S., Duarte, D. H.
