The datasets are from a field experimentconducted a field study at the Long-term Farming Systems Comparison Trial (SysCom) (www.system-comparison.fibl.org) site in Chuka, Tharaka-Nithi County, Kenya, during the long rain and short rain seasons of 2021. They are from daily rainfall at the Chuka site during long and short rains 2021 seasons; Incidence of fall armyworm (FAW) larvae and abundance of Cotesia icipe on baby corn during the long and short rain 2021 cropping seasons; Effect of FAW management strategies on the mortality of FAW larvae in different farming systems during long rain and short rains 2021 seasons; Effect of FAW management strategy on yield of baby corn yields Mg ha-1 during long and short rain season 2021.
