Description

Experimental data on Nostalgia Memory, Meaning in Life, and Prosocial Behavior Orientation from 189 participants-undergraduate students in Jakarta. All participants were induced with Generative AI video, and responded two open-ended question about Nostalgia Memory and Meaning in Life. The participants made a prosocial behavior by choosing one from three options about donation decision (full donation, half donation, no donation). This data following categories, Nostalgia memory (Early Life, Relationship, Romantized, Memory, Non), Meaning in LIfe (Ego, Relationship, Helping, Moral, Perceived AI, No meaning), and Prosocial Behavior Orientation categories (Social Giving, Personal Giving, Meaning Absent Giving, No Giving). This data only contains response from experimental group that were collected onsite in classroom settings within both faculties (Humanities and Computer Science). This dataset can be utilized by researchers, social practitioners, and social workers in charitable organizations.
