Description

An excel file with the measures of volumetric heat capacity and thermal diffusivity of the resin-graphite composites manual agitation mixing. The thermal conductivity of the composites could be calculated with these measurements. Adding original micrographs of the resin-graphite and resin-iron composites were used to calculate the mean area of the agglomerations of particles. The resin-graphite composites were mixed with an oscillation agitator, the resin-iron dust composites were applied to an electromagnetic field during the polymerization time and compared with resin-iron dust with manual agitation.

Files

Steps to reproduce

Open the excel file and multiply the column pCp with alpha to calculate the thermal conductivity. The error was estimated by applying the propagation of precision errors of two measurements combined arithmetically. Original micrographics files were used to estimate the mean area of agglomerations with ImageJ. First, the images were binarized. Then, set the scale to 250 pixels = 500 micrometers. And finally, analyze the particles.
