Description

This dataset was prepared in support of the manuscript entitled “Mechanisms and scaling of hydrodynamic dispersion of non-reactive contaminants in saturated disordered porous media.” It contains the final-frame .h5 files for all Péclet-number cases considered in the study. Each .h5 file stores particle-resolved residence-time information throughout the computational domain, mean-square displacement data, the spatial configuration of the solid obstacles, the corresponding steady-state flow field and so on. In addition, the dataset includes the Excel file containing the processed quantities used in the analysis. These tables provide key case-specific information, including characteristic lengths, time-conversion factors for transforming lattice units into physical units, mean flow velocities, average throat sizes, solid area, hydraulic radius, and longitudinal dispersion coefficients.
