Description

This dataset contains the raw and processed data used in the study “An empirical analysis of the emotional evaluation of virtual reality architectural interior colors based on personality differences.” The data were collected from 63 participants exposed to 24 systematically designed virtual reality indoor spaces, varying in color combinations, geometric contours, and color proportions. The dataset includes self-reported emotional ratings (SAM: pleasure, arousal, dominance, and liking), personality traits assessed by the Big Five Inventory, and physiological measures of skin conductance response (SCR). Data files are provided in .csv or excel format with an accompanying codebook for variable explanation. The dataset can be used to replicate the analyses presented in the manuscript or for further studies on emotion–environment interactions in architectural design.
