Description

The dataset consists of qualitative interview data examining how Chinese women negotiate bodily vulnerability, privacy, boundaries, and trust during gynecological examinations conducted by male physicians. The study uses episode-based semi-structured interviews focusing on participants’ recent clinical encounters, including bodily exposure, physical touch, communication, perceived professionalism, privacy arrangements, patient agency, and changes in trust.
