Description

The dataset entitled "Artificial Intelligence and Information Systems" contains bibliographic records collected from major scientific databases to support a literature review on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Information Systems (IS), organizational environments, and digital transformation initiatives. The dataset includes metadata such as article titles, authors, publication years, abstracts, keywords, source titles, affiliations, countries, and citation counts. The data were compiled to facilitate bibliometric, scientometric, and thematic analyses to identify research trends, emerging technologies, application domains, organizational benefits, governance mechanisms, ethical considerations, and challenges associated with AI adoption in Information Systems. The dataset enables replication of literature reviews, trend analyses, co-authorship studies, and keyword co-occurrence analyses, as well as the identification of research gaps and future directions in the field. This dataset serves as a valuable resource for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers interested in understanding the evolution and impact of Artificial Intelligence on Information Systems and digital transformation processes across different sectors.
