Parametric sweep results for unsteady MHD boundary-layer flow with Hall and ion-slip currents over a permeable surface
Description
This dataset contains the numerical results generated during the parametric study of an unsteady magnetohydrodynamic boundary-layer flow over a permeable surface with Hall and ion-slip currents, velocity slip, temperature jump, buoyancy, thermal radiation, and viscous-Joule dissipation. The governing boundary value problem was solved using the shooting method coupled with an adaptive Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg (RKF45) scheme, with Newton–Raphson iteration used to correct the wall gradients. The Excel workbook is organized into separate sheets, one for each of the nine embedded parameters examined: the magnetic field parameter (M), the Hall parameter (βₑ), the ion-slip parameter (βᵢ), the velocity slip parameter (δ₁), the temperature jump parameter (δ₂), the suction/injection parameter (S), the buoyancy parameter (Gr), the thermal radiation parameter (R), and the Eckert number (Ec). Each sheet reports the primary skin friction coefficient (Cfx), the secondary skin friction coefficient (Cfz), and the local Nusselt number (Nu) across the full range of values tested for that parameter, with all other parameters held at their base-case values. A MasterSummary sheet consolidates these results across all nine parameters, and a BaseCase sheet records the reference parameter set used throughout the study. These results correspond to Figures 2–19 of the associated manuscript and provide the full numerical values, including several decimal places beyond what was reported in the text, that underlie the parametric trends and physical interpretations discussed there. The dataset is provided to support the reproducibility of the reported results and to allow other researchers to verify, extend, or compare against this parametric study.
