Description

This dataset includes: * The shapefiles of the Susuz karst aquifer (Seydişehir, Turkey). * Daily mean discharge of Pınarbaşı karst spring. * MODIS daily snow covered-area time series (processed for the catchment). * Daily total precipitation data of the surrounding weather stations. * Daily mean air temperature data of the surrounding weather stations. The coordinates of the meteorological stations can be found in the "All_data.xlsx" file. All rigths of the "daily total precipitation", and "daily mean air temperature" data are belong to the "Turkish State Meteorological Service".

Steps to reproduce

Eijkelkamp CTD diver probe is installed at the flow channel 330m downstream of the Pınarbaşı karst spring to measure the water level inside the flow channel. The water level values then converted to the discharge values by using a rating curve which is obtained by using Acoustic Doppler Current Profilemeter (ADCP) method at different water levels inside the flow channel. MODIS daily snow covered area dataset is derived from the MODIS Terra "MOD10A1" maps for the h20v05 tile. The maps are cropped and processed by using the R package "MODIStsp" (Busetto and Ranghetti, 2016). The cloud removal is made manually by using the MODIS 8-days maximum snow extent maps (MOD10A2) in ArcGIS.
