Data were collected from 21 highly trained male collegiate athletes who completed a repeated-measures sprint priming protocol across a 9-week periodised training intervention. Participants completed a control condition and sprint priming sessions at baseline, mid-test, and post-test. Sprint performance was assessed over 20 m with a 10 m split using infrared timing gates (Brower Timing Systems, Utah, USA) and a motion start sensor. Strength assessments included countermovement jump, maximal 10 rebound jump, isometric squat, and one-repetition maximum (1RM) back squat testing. Jump and isometric squat variables were collected using dual force plates (Hawkin Dynamics Inc., Maine, USA; 1000 Hz sampling frequency). Training intervention data included prescribed resistance training and sprint-specific workloads across three weekly sessions for nine weeks. Statistical analyses were performed in R (version 4.3.0, R Foundation for Statistical Computing, Vienna, Austria) using linear mixed-effects models estimated via restricted maximum likelihood.
