The hourly irradiance I(h) is obtained for each location (Amsterdam, Naples, and Doha) from the PV Geographical Information System (PVGIS) database using the PVGIS-SARAH2 dataset and averaging the irradiation in the years 2005-2020. It represents the global irradiance impinging on a surface whose Azimuth and Slope angles have been optimized by PVGIS.
