The dataset used in this study consists of 22,454 high-quality color fundus images from three publicly available sources, merged for the classification of diabetic retinopathy (DR) and other retinal diseases. The images are categorized into 13 clinically significant classes, including various stages of DR (Mild, Moderate, Severe, Proliferative, Advanced PDR, Very Severe NPDR), other retinal conditions like Dry AMD, Wet AMD, Cataract, Hypertensive Retinopathy, Pathological Myopia, Glaucoma, and a Normal Fundus category.
