A Morphologically Annotated Lexical Dataset of Khorezm Dialect–Standard Uzbek Word Correspondences
Description
This dataset presents a morphologically annotated lexical resource capturing word correspondences between the Khorezm dialect and Standard Uzbek. It includes paired lexical items aligned across the two varieties, with detailed morphological annotations such as part-of-speech categories, number, person/possession, case, and other relevant grammatical features. The dataset is intended to support research in Uzbek dialectology, comparative linguistics, and natural language processing (NLP), particularly for tasks involving morphological analysis, dialect normalization, and low-resource language modeling. All entries have been manually curated and annotated to ensure linguistic accuracy and consistency. The resource can be used for linguistic analysis, corpus-based studies, and the development or evaluation of computational models for Uzbek and its regional varieties.

Steps to reproduce
Access the dataset via the Mendeley Data repository using the provided DOI or direct URL. Download the dataset files to a local machine. If the files are archived (e.g., ZIP), extract them using standard decompression tools. Open the data files (CSV/XLSX) with spreadsheet software or a programming environment. Review the columns containing Khorezm dialect forms, Standard Uzbek equivalents, and morphological annotations. Use the annotated data to reproduce lexical correspondences, morphological analyses, or related linguistic and computational experiments.
