Original western blot images were obtained from mouse primary mesothelial cells (MPMC) using antibodies against Amhr2 (Santa Cruz, sc-377413), p-Smad1/5 (Cell Signaling, (Ser463/465) (41D10)), and beta-actinin (Cell Signaling, 13E5). Additionally, original western blot images were acquired from the human mesothelial cell line (Met5a) treated with media from cancer cells (BI or Ov90) or transfected with variants of Amhr2 (V1, V3). Staining was performed using antibodies against Amhr2 (Cell Signaling, #4518), p-Smad1/5 (Cell Signaling, (Ser463/465) (41D10)), and beta-actinin (Cell Signaling, 13E5). The western blots included the Precision Plus Protein Dual Color Standards ladder (Bio-Rad #1610374, 10-250 kDa).
