Experiment on the Water-Rock Interactions between Granite Cuttings and Alkaline NaCl Solution and Their Mechanisms

A series of water-rock interaction experiments were carried out between granite cuttings and alkaline 6 wt% NaCl solution, and further tests on the mineral, micro-morphological and chemical changes of cuttings, as well as chemical changes of solutions were performed. The database contains the orignal data obtained from the tests of granite cuttings and reactive solutions. For granite cuttings, there are XRD test results and SEM-EDS test results before and after water-rock interactions. For reactive solutions, there are solution chemical analysis results of solutions obtained during water-rock interactions. Additionally, discussion resluts of the test results are also presented along with the test results.
