29 Swedish recent real case renovation project dataset to perform life cycle based assessments
Description
Dataset of empirical bottom-up data from 29 real-case renovation projects of apartment and office buildings situated in Sweden. The renovation projects were carried out over the past 10 years in Swedish municipalities. The dataset includes the Excel template used to collect the data, the raw data collected in the form of lists of building products installed and characteristics of the renovation actions undertaken, the renovation projects, and the renovated buildings. The dataset also includes processed data in the form of the categorisation of each building product into a product category (based on material composition), a building element category, and a renovation measure category. All parameters are described in the description.pdf file. The data are also mapped to climate data used to perform life cycle-based greenhouse gas emissions assessment. It should be noted that the data processing includes assumptions; a quality assessment score file provides information on the research team's confidence at each step of the data processing. The dataset is a resource for understanding current renovation practices and for further investigating associated GHGe levels and potential mitigation strategies.
