Description

The repository includes structured metadata files exported from Scopus corresponding to searches on quantum computing applications in healthcare (1985–2025). It contains: The complete dataset retrieved from the initial search query. The refined dataset of articles included after the screening and eligibility assessment process. A categorized list of excluded articles, including documented reasons for exclusion according to the predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. These materials enable full reproducibility and transparency of the scientometric analysis conducted in this study.

Steps to reproduce

To reproduce the dataset, the following search query must be executed in Scopus using the Advanced Search interface: TITLE-ABS-KEY ( "quantum computing" OR "quantum computer" OR "quantum algorithm" OR "quantum machine learning" OR "quantum neural network" OR "variational quantum" OR "quantum annealing" OR "quantum optimization" OR "hybrid quantum" ) AND TITLE-ABS-KEY ( health OR healthcare OR medical OR medicine OR diagnosis OR disease OR patient OR clinical OR "medical imaging" OR MRI OR CT OR genomics OR bioinformatics OR therapy OR treatment OR "drug discovery" OR "clinical data" ) AND ( LANGUAGE(english) ) AND ( DOCTYPE(ar) ) AND ( PUBYEAR > 1985 ) AND ( PUBYEAR < 2026 ) The query must be executed in the Advanced Search section of Scopus, ensuring that results are exported in CSV format including full metadata fields (e.g., authors, title, abstract, keywords, affiliations, citations, and references).
