Data for: Dry reforming of methane
Description
This dataset refers to patented methods, processes, and reactors used in dry reforming (DRM) of methane and can be helpful for prior art searches, patent landscapes, and FTO searches. Dry reforming is one of the three processes implemented to obtain syngas (CO + H2) via the reforming of methane. The reaction of methane (1) with carbon dioxide is endothermic and requires a lot of energy. CH4 + CO2 = 2CO + 2H2 (1) AH298K = + 247KJ/mol The catalysts are active metals (Ni, Rh, Ru, Co, Fe, Cu) or based on bimetallic components like Co-Ni. This dataset was obtained by combing keywords, classification (IPC/CPC), and indexing codes. Patent searches were carried out on Orbit Intelligence (FamPat database). The complete list of symbols used is available in the README file. 1772 patent families were retrieved. Approximately 70% are alive patents/patent applications.
