Description

The dataset contains Mathematica files for the continuum analysis of three-dimensional (3D) tensegrity modules based on the expanded octahedron. The provided files include analytical models developed for three module configurations: Regular, Rotated I, and Rotated II. For each configuration, the files provide the complete continuum analysis, including the geometric definition of the module, the elasticity matrix, its inverse, and expressions for the equivalent engineering constants and related mechanical characteristics, including extremal mechanical properties. The codes are universal and can be adapted for the continuum analysis of other 3D tensegrity modules with arbitrary geometry, provided that the corresponding nodal coordinates and connectivity are specified at the beginning of the file.
