Description

This article presents a cross-sectional survey dataset collected from 308 manufacturing firms operating in five industrial sub-sectors (plastics, food processing, chemicals, textiles, and pharmaceuticals). The dataset combines firm-level descriptive attributes — sub-sector, firm size category, ISO 14001 environmental certification status, export orientation, and firm age — with respondent scores on six multi-item constructs measured on a 7-point Likert scale: green marketing practices (GFMP, 5 items), green dynamic capabilities (GDC, 5 items), green market/marketing innovation (GMI, 5 items), green brand equity (GBE, 5 items), competitive advantage (CA, 5 items), and perceived market value/performance (PMV, 4 items). Data were collected through a structured, self-administered questionnaire and are provided in cleaned, ready-to-use tabular format (.xlsx), with no missing values across the 308 valid responses. The dataset allows researchers to examine relationships between green marketing capabilities and competitive outcomes across firms of different sizes, certification status, export orientation, and industrial sub-sector, and can support replication, cross-country comparison, or secondary analysis using structural equation modelling or comparable multivariate techniques.
