Solar Irradiance Forecasting Dataset for GELG
Description
The experimental area is located in Taian City, Shandong Province, China. This paper selects a point at 117.65° east longitude and 35.92° north latitude as the prediction target point P0. With P0 as the center, a circular sampling area with a radius of 6 km is established. 25 observation points are evenly sampled along the circumference, forming a total of 26 data collection points together with P0. The task is to predict the solar radiation at P0. The experimental data in this paper comes from the National Solar Radiation Database (NSRDB). The time range of solar radiation data collection is from 00:00 on March 21, 2019, to 23:00 on March 20, 2020, with a sampling interval of 1 hour. Based on the traditional Chinese solar terms, this paper divides the data into four datasets: Spring (March 21 to June 22, 2019), Summer (June 23 to September 23, 2019), Autumn (September 24 to December 22, 2019), and Winter (December 23, 2019, to March 20, 2020).
