Description

This work summarizes a curated dataset comprising 210 tensile-property records for CrCoFeMnNi-based alloys. The dataset includes 23 alloy-family identifiers, 135 composition names, and approximately 62 unique reference DOIs. It covers yield strength values ranging from 130 to 2033 MPa and elongation values ranging from 0.8% to 96.2%, together with elemental compositions, processing codes, annealing conditions, test temperature, and a series of empirical descriptors, including VEC, δ, Ω, Md, E, and μ. The organized dataset is suitable for descriptive statistical analysis, feature screening, regression modeling, and the design of external-validation strategies. Nevertheless, further standardization of process-code definitions, duplicate-handling rules, and out-of-distribution diagnostic procedures is required before the dataset can be reliably used for predictive modeling or alloy screening.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset was summarized using a workflow comprising: (i) worksheet parsing and field identification; (ii) inspection of missing values, numerical ranges, and potentially overlapping records; (iii) descriptive statistics for yield strength and elongation; (iv) element-frequency analysis based on atomic-percentage columns; (v) visualization of strength–ductility relationships and label distributions; and (vi) exploratory Pearson-correlation screening between numerical descriptors and yield strength. The correlation analysis was intended only as a preliminary feature-screening step and should not be interpreted as evidence of causality.
